So, I decided to install a smart switch module from Moes — all because of my cat, Marcelo.

The reason behind it is simple: when I get home at night, it’s completely dark inside. Since I have glass windows, I worry that I might accidentally hurt Marcelo when I open the door and can’t see him.

With this setup, as soon as I get home, I just pull out my phone and turn on the lamp using the app.

The wiring was actually pretty simple. I connected the L (live) and N (neutral) to the smart switch. To do this, I added two pieces of wire — one for L and one for N — and used Wago connectors to join them to the existing wires. Then, I connected the wire from the lamp to the L’ (load) terminal. Finally, I added a wire from the wall switch to the smart module, and I connected the switch itself to the Phase (L) line.
